We built MyCampusKorner to save families from the frantic, page-to-page panic of shopping for college move-in day.
As a former E-Commerce Operations Manager for a global corporation, I spent years building and managing large-scale digital commerce platforms. Yet when it came time to help our own sons prepare for their undergraduate education, my wife and I found ourselves sitting at the kitchen table experiencing the same stress that so many families face navigating countless websites to determine what they actually needed and where to find it.

What we do
College shopping lists are long, and the products on them are scattered across dozens of retailers. We hand-pick the essentials that actually earn their place in a dorm room or a backpack and organize them the way campus life works: Dorm & Living Essentials, Academic Essentials, Personal Lifestyle, Event Tickets & Travel and Financial Services. You can build your whole list from one place instead of twenty open tabs.
How it works
Browse the shop, and when something fits, the button on its page takes you to the retailer to buy it. The retailer handles your payment, shipping and returns. We never see your card details or your order.
Our blog has the longer reads: move-in checklists, study-kit guides, budgeting tips and more, written for students and the parents helping them.
How we keep the lights on
Some links on MyCampusKorner are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price either way. We choose products for students first, and we only list things we would put on our own family's list.
